Lorraine is an award winning quilter and textile artist, winning numerous prizes for her quilts. Her work has been exhibited widely in Australia and internationally and her quilts have won awards in the Mancuso Shows, the American Quilter’s Society in Paducah and the International Quilt Festival in Houston.

Her major awards include 3 Best of Show, Best use of Colour, Best Hand Quilting and numerous Viewers’ Choice awards. She has been featured in many local and international magazines, and her book Mosaic Applique, published by American Quilter’s Society was released in 2007.

Her many quilting activities include Teaching, Judging, Quilt Valuing, Hand dying fabric and Producing Patterns.
